Two charged in connection with phone shop robbery

Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery during which goods valued at more than £40,000 were stolen from a phone shop.

Radu Becam, 21, of Orchard Road, Enfield, and Emanuel Becam, 19, of Nash Road, Enfield, have both been charged with robbery. Emanuel Becam is also charged with dangerous driving.

Wiltshire Police were called to Vodafone on Marlborough High Street following the incident in which staff were threatened and the stock was stolen on Saturday afternoon.

Both men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on 31 January, police said.
