A woman whose body was found in Ipswich died of natural causes.

Suffolk Police was called to Mottram Close "by a member of the public who had concerns" at about 21:30 BST on Sunday.

On arrival, officers found the body of a woman in her 60s.

A post-mortem examination concluded there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

A man had been arrested and taken into custody, but he was released once the death was confirmed to have been due to natural causes.

Det Supt Nicola Wallace said: "In cases where we have a death that is unexplained and gives us sufficient cause for concern, it is vitally important that we follow all due procedure and fully investigate the circumstances."
