A mother and aunt have been charged with helping a now-convicted murderer avoid arrest.
Kami Carpenter was jailed for life in April after being found guilty of killing footballer Cody Fisher.
Jahzeen Carpenter, 39, and Nadine Taylor, 44, are accused of helping him avoid arrest in the days after Mr Fisher's stabbing on Boxing Day 2022.
Mr Fisher, a former Birmingham City FC academy member who had also played for a Bromsgrove Sporting and Stratford Town, was pronounced dead at the Crane nightclub in Digbeth after suffering wounds to the chest and leg.
Ms Carpenter and her sister Ms Taylor appeared before magistrates on Tuesday on charges of assisting an offender.
The pair, from Dudley, were released on bail to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on 8 October.
Kami Carpenter, 22, was convicted of the murder alongside Remy Gordon, 23.
They blamed each other for stabbing the 23-year-old former Birmingham City academy player.
A third man, Reegan Anderson, 19, was found not guilty of murder but guilty of affray.
