Man, 25, killed in Isle of Man coast road crash

A man has died in a crash on the coast road on the west of the Isle of Man, police have confirmed.

Kian Broadhead, 25, died in the incident at the Devil's Elbow on the A4 Kirk Michael to Peel Coast Road on Sunday.

Isle of Man Constabulary said the emergency services were called at about 17:25 BST but Mr Broadhead died at the scene.

A police spokeswoman said an investigation into the "a deeply tragic incident" was under way and the force's thoughts were "with the family and friends of Kian at this difficult time".

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the crash to get in touch and they urged people to "refrain from speculation and respect the family's privacy".
