Murder arrest after death of 19-year-old woman

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder over the death of a 19-year-old woman.
Officers were called to Park Street, Oldbury around 21.50 GMT on Wednesday where the woman was found with serious injuries, said West Midlands Police.
"Despite the best efforts of paramedics, there was nothing that could be done to save her and she was pronounced dead at the scene," stated the force, adding its thoughts were with her loved ones.
A 41-year-old man, who is thought to be known to the woman, remains in custody for questioning.
