Motorcyclist in hospital after crash with car

A motorcyclist is in hospital after a crash with a car in Nottinghamshire.
Police were called to the A46 near Winthorpe at about 19:30 BST on Wednesday, with the road closed in both directions until 03:00 on Thursday.
Nottinghamshire Police said the rider was given first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital, where he is being treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage are urged to contact police.
