Arrests made after high value fraud

The arrests come after a six-figure sum was taken from an elderly man in Aberdeen

Five people have been charged in connection with offences including involvement in serious organised crime.

A number of addresses were targeted after a six-figure sum of cash was stolen from an elderly man in Aberdeen in January.

Warrants were executed at residential and business addresses in East Kilbride, Shawlands and Uddingston on Friday.

A small amount of drugs and £30,000 in cash were seized.
