Police were called to Calton Court in the Gorbals

A man has been arrested after a report of a serious sexual assault near Glasgow city centre.

Officers were called to Calton Court, in the Laurieston area of the Gorbals, on Monday.

Police Scotland said a 39-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.

The force said inquiries were continuing.
