Child's death being investigated in seaside town

The death of a child is being investigated after emergency services were called to a property in Bournemouth.
Police attended the address off Christchurch Road on Friday morning after being informed of a child in need of medical attention.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "There is nothing to indicate that the death is suspicious. As with all cases involving a death in infancy, officers will be carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances."
They added: "Our thoughts are with the family involved and we would ask that their privacy is respected at this extremely difficult time."
Earlier, Bournemouth East MP Tom Hayes posted on X of an ongoing police presence in Boscombe Crescent.
He later said, external he was "very sad to hear about the tragic loss of a child".
"My thoughts and condolences are with their loved ones at this difficult time," he added.
