Four in hospital and three arrested after BMW crash

Three men have been arrested after a BMW crashed, leaving a woman seriously injured.

Cambridgeshire Police said no other was involved in the crash, which happened at about 04:40 BST on Ermine Street South, Papworth Everard.

The female passenger was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for several hours but it has now been reopened.

The three men who were arrested are also in hospital.

Sgt Mark Atkins said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the vehicle in the moments leading up to the incident.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time with dashcam footage."
