Two charged with attempted murder after stabbing

Two men have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Sheffield city centre.
Wayne Atkinson, 32, and Brendon Atkinson, 29, are accused of trying to kill Crushendae Campbell during an attack on Earl Street at about 05:00 GMT on Sunday.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said Mr Campbell, 29, remained in hospital, but his condition was no longer considered life-threatening.
Wayne Atkinson and Brendon Atkinson, both of William Street in Sheffield, were remanded in custody at Sheffield Magistrates' Court to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on13 December.
Wayne Atkinson has been charged with attempted murder, assault and possession of a bladed article, while Brendon Atkinson has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
Neither defendant entered a plea during the brief hearing.
