Detectives are asking the public to help identify a man after what they described as a "high value" burglary at a Plymouth city centre second hand shop.

Devon and Cornwall Police said access was initially gained to Wants on Armada Way between 17:30 and 19:00 GMT on Thursday via an empty next door property.

The force said a suspect stole "a large quantity of jewellery and watches".

It said the man left via the roof of the next door property and onto Cornwall Street, before returning to the shop at about 22:00 GMT and stealing further items.

The force said: "It is believed the man pictured may be able to help police with their enquiries.

"We are aware the quality of the picture is low but it is all we have available at the moment."

Anyone with information or camera footage is asked to contact the force on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
