Man charged with attempted murder in Bracebridge

A 34-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an incident in Bracebridge on Friday.

Police were called to a property on Ellison Street, off Newark Road, following reports of an assault at 15:47 BST.

Lincolnshire Police said armed officers found a man with life-threatening injuries, consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Daniel Sanderson, of no fixed address, was charged in the early hours of Sunday morning and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, on Monday.

Two women, aged 27 and 37, who were arrested on Friday have been released and will not face any further action.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, and asked for anyone with information to contact them.
