Teens charged with attempted murder over stabbing

Two teenagers have been charged with attempted murder over a stabbing in Telford on Monday.

Riley Preece, 18, of St George's, Telford, and a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Shrewsbury Crown Court on 28 November.

Following Monday's stabbing, an 18-year-old male was found with multiple wounds on King Street in Dawley, and taken to hospital.

West Mercia Police said a third individual, a 21-year-old male, arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident, remained in custody.
