Attempted murder charge after woman severely injured
Police were called to Cinderford Close on Thursday

A man has been charged with attempting to murder a woman who sustained "potentially life-threatening injuries", according to police.
The 37-year-old woman remains in Southampton General Hospital following the alleged attack in Portsmouth, Hampshire, on Thursday.
Officers said they were called shortly after 15:00 GMT to Cinderford Close in Paulsgrove.
A 35 year-old man, who lives in the road, is due to appear before Portsmouth magistrates on Saturday.
