Man's face slashed in 'horrible' assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained a slash wound to his face during a "horrible" knife attack in Hucknall.
Officers said they were called to Bakewell Lane at about 18:25 BST on Tuesday following reports of an assault by two men who fled the scene.
A man in his 30s was found with a slash wound to his forehead after reportedly been attacked with a knife.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering, Nottinghamshire Police said.
The force has appealed for information.
PC Jon Evans said: "This was a horrible assault that left a man with a nasty injury to his face.
"We are determined to get to the bottom of exactly what happened and track down whoever was responsible."
