Three teenage boys arrested after car theft report

Three teenagers have been arrested after armed officers were called to reports that a man's car had been stolen.
Northamptonshire Police said a car hit a fence in Ladybridge Drive, Northampton at about 15:00 BST on Tuesday after its driver failed to stop.
A 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, drug-driving, failing to stop and criminal damage has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Two more boys, aged 16 and 17, remained in custody and were being questioned on suspicion of robbery and possession of a blade, police added. All three were also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
Detectives have urged anyone with information to come forward.
