Woman in 70s killed in car crash
The crash happened on the A120 at Great Dunmow on Wednesday

A woman in her 70s has died after a single-vehicle collision on a major A-road.
Essex Police were called to reports of a crash on the westbound carriageway of the A120 near Great Dunmow at about 10.10 GMT on Wednesday.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services attended.
Police said that “despite the best efforts of paramedics”, the woman died at the scene.
“We do not believe any other vehicles were involved and a file will be prepared for the coroner,” they added.
