Shetland knife attacker guilty of attempted murder

A man has been found guilty of attempted murder in a knife attack in Shetland.
Stephen Savage, 50, attacked Ross Sutherland in Lerwick in September 2022 in a row over money.
The court heard Mr Sutherland was scarred for life by the attack.
Savage was found guilty a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
The trial heard that Mr Sutherland had been blamed for money going missing.
One witness described a "loud frenzy" as he tried to protect himself.
Savage, from Glasgow, had previously been jailed for four-and-a-half years in 2012 for an unprovoked attack outside a primary school in the city.
Lord Harrower remanded him in custody and deferred sentencing until next month.
