Murder suspect arrested over woman's death

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in hospital.
Hampshire Police said concerns had been raised following the 55-year-old's death at St Mary's Hospital in Newport, Isle of Wight, on 4 April.
The 51-year-old man from Shanklin was arrested on suspicion of murder and engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.
The force said he remained in custody while investigations continued into the circumstances leading to the woman's death.
