Two children have been injured after being struck by a car in Glasgow.

The youngsters, aged 10 and 11, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the incident on St George’s Road at about 14:15 on Wednesday.

Neither child was understood to be seriously injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said inquiries were ongoing.
