All lanes on the M1 southbound in Leicestershire are open again after a crash between two lorries.

National Highways confirmed at 10:40 GMT on Wednesday that three lanes were closed between junction 21a (A46) and junction 21 (M69).

The organisation said all vehicles had been moved to the hard shoulder at 12:40.

Drivers are advised to allow extra journey time if using the route whilst traffic flows return to normal.
