A motorway was closed in both directions after a lorry fire.

National Highways said the M11 between junction 10, at Duxford in Cambridgeshire, and junction eight, for Stansted Airport in Essex, was closed on Wednesday evening and fire and emergency services attended.

The motorway remained closed southbound for a second incident where a crane needed to be recovered.

National Highways confirmed at about 07:50 BST that all lanes had reopened with only minor delays for motorists in the area.
