The crash happened on the A6003 Uppingham Road, one of the main routes to Corby

A man and a woman in their 70s have been seriously hurt in a car crash.

It happened at about 14:20 BST on Thursday on the A6003 Uppingham Road in Corby, Northamptonshire.

They were in a blue Vauxhall Astra that was in collision with a silver Hyundai.

Northamptonshire Police said the road would have been busy at that time and appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
