Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in the changing rooms of St Helier's lido.
States of Jersey Police said the incident took place at 07:00 GMT on Tuesday at Havre des Pas bathing pool.
The police said the victim suffered a head injury after being assaulted by a man with an unknown object.
The force added a man was arrested later after he presented himself at the police station.
Police said the victim went to hospital but they have not commented on the severity of his injury.
They asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
