Two people have been arrested following a protest.

Police were in attendance on Tuesday at a protest in Epping, Essex, when they arrested a 48-year-old man from Harlow on suspicion of breaching his bail conditions.

A 17-year-old was also arrested under Section 14 of the Public Order Act on suspicion of failing to abide by the restrictions placed upon the protest. Both remain in custody.

Ch Insp Ella Lathan, of Essex Police, said the vast majority of those in attendance "did so within the restrictions in place".
