Attempted murder arrests after stabbing

A man and a teenager have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after they were both stabbed.
The pair, aged 17 and 42, remain in hospital in "stable yet serious conditions" following the incident in Barnsley on Saturday afternoon, South Yorkshire Police said.
Officers said the pair, who knew each other, were reportedly stabbed inside a property on Regent Street in the town centre at about 13:40 BST.
The 42-year-old man was also arrested for possession of a bladed article, according to a force spokesperson. Det Insp Stuart Boldero said incident was "isolated" and investigations were ongoing.
