Drink-driver caught with his children in the car

A drink-driver arrested after a police tip off had taken to the road with his children in the car, a court heard.
A member of the public called 999 to report a man, who they believed to be drunk, getting into the driver’s seat of a Toyota Corolla in Sugar Way, Woodston, Peterborough, on 24 August.
Prince Siziba, 32, gave a roadside reading of 103mg per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Cambridgeshire Police described his actions as "incredibly selfish".
Siziba, of Linnet, Orton Wistow, Peterborough, appeared at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on 13 September, where he admitted drink driving and driving without insurance.
He has been disqualified from driving for 25 months and must pay a £350 fine.

Police spotted his car in Oundle Road, where Siziba was seen to repeatedly cross the central lines before coming to a stop.
He reportedly fell into the driver's seat while officers were dealing with him - and had two young children in the car with him.
Det Con Les Ellmer, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: "Siziba’s actions were incredibly selfish, not only putting his life and other road users at risk, but choosing to get behind the wheel drunk while his own children were in the car."
"I would like to thank the person who called us to report this – if anyone believes someone is driving under the influence of drink or drugs, always dial 999," he added.
