A panel will discuss the role of regulation in Jersey.
Jersey Care Commission, Jersey Financial Services Commission and Digital Jersey are putting on an event called Regulation in Jersey - do we get the balance right?
The event aims to discuss different aspects of regulation in business and the public sector.
Becky Sherrington, chief inspector of the Jersey Care Commission, said: "Regulation is necessary for protecting islanders as well as supporting regulated organisations to flourish, but we also understand it can often be perceived as a barrier."
She said she was "looking forward to hosting" the event, which she said aimed to "provide a balanced view" of regulation on the island.
The event will take place between 12:00 and 14:00 BST on 2 October 2024 at the Royal Yacht Hotel.
