A CCTV image has been released after a one-year-old boy was bitten by a dog.

The incident happened at Arnos Court Park, in Brislington, Bristol, at about 17:45 BST on 29 July.

The child suffered bruising and puncture wounds to the arm and was taken to hospital for treatment, police said. He has since been discharged.

Avon and Somerset Police has now released an image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident. He is described as white, about 60 years old, clean shaven with grey hair and was wearing a green gilet in the image, and possibly green trousers, while walking two white or cream poodle crossbreeds.

Police said CCTV and house-to-house enquiries, as well as additional patrols in the area, had been carried out.

Anyone who recognises the man, or may have dashcam or doorbell footage from around the time of the incident, is asked to contact police.
