A fake driving instructor was intercepted by the police while teaching a student on a bogus lesson.

The learner was paying £37.50 an hour for lessons in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, but was unaware their instructor was unqualified.

Officers from Thames Valley Police seized the suspected swindler's vehicle, gave them six points on their licence and commenced a criminal investigation.

According to the government website, you must become an approved driving instructor if you want to charge people for lessons.
