Cannabis shop to open at landmark building

A cannabis shop is set to open at a landmark building in Guernsey.

Bailiwick Botanicals has announced that it has taken on the lease at the Weighbridge House, formerly known as the White Hart.

The building has been empty since before the Covid-19 pandemic.

The shop is set to open later this year, with the company saying it will "contribute to the revitalisation of that area of town".

Rebecca Tucker said: "This location offers us the space we need to expand our product range and better serve our customers.

"We look forward to elevating our position as a vibrant part of the community and contributing to the regeneration of the area."
