Boy arrested after gun and class A drugs seized

A teenager has been arrested after a handgun and a haul of class A drugs were seized in Stoke-on-Trent.
Armed officers were deployed on a search warrant to an address on Chaplin Road in Longton on Wednesday.
A second raid then took place at property on St John Street, Hanley, with the weapon and drugs found in an alleyway nearby, Staffordshire Police said.
A 17-year-old boy from Stoke-on-Trent has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
The force has warned that a police presence remains in the area while inquiries continue.
