Tributes to soon-to-be dad, killed in A17 crash

The parents of a 23-year-old soon-to-be dad have paid tribute after he died in a crash on the A17.
Callum Fardell, described as a "Grantham lad born and bred", was driving his van on the A17 between Brant Broughton and Leadenham on 10 January when he collided with a lorry.
The crash took place just after 07:00 GMT and he was pronounced dead at the scene along with the 68-year-old man who had been driving the lorry.
Callum's parents said he was a "funny, generous and popular young man who had a passion for life and family."
Supported charities
When Callum, who had a "huge heart", went to secondary school, he was hugely popular and made people laugh, his parents said.
He signed up for extra education and joined Harlaxton Engineering, where he met a group of colleagues who "took him under their wings and taught him the skills of the job".
His interests included boxing and weight training, and he supported local charities.
At the time of his death, Callum was due to become a dad, with his baby expected to arrive in July.
He had been preparing to move into a house with his girlfriend, who his parents said he "deeply loved".
'We feel numb'
Callum's parents said: "The family are devastated and many of us can't stop crying. We feel numb. It doesn't feel fair or right.
"We are going to miss him so much. He would never leave the house without giving us both a hug before he left.
"Callum was such a loving person and we've been inundated with flowers and cards galore."
They added: "The outpouring of love has been truly indescribable, and he will leave a massive hole in our hearts.
"He was a Grantham lad born and bred and the community will miss him dearly."
