People have been asked to avoid an area near a city railway station because of an ongoing incident.

Cambridgeshire Police said it was assisting the county's fire service in Great Northern Road, in Cambridge.

Posting on X, external, officers said: "Police are on scene and assisting the fire service with a fire incident. We will update when this is no longer the case."

The BBC has asked police, the fire service and ambulance service to comment.
