Schedule for Cornish regatta week released

The 2024 edition of Charlestown Regatta Week will include raft races and a prom in the park

Activities that will be part of an annual regatta in Cornwall have been confirmed by its organisers.

The 2024 Charlestown Regatta Week is taking place between 20 and 26 July with a series of events to help raise funds for local charities and good causes.

Organisers said the activities at this year's event include raft races, pasty demonstrations, a grand carnival, a flora dance procession and a prom in the park with fireworks.

Most events are free to attend but some would require visitors to either pay a donation or buy a ticket, organisers added.
