Boomtown Rats & Feeder to headline App-Fest

A Gloucestershire music festival said it was "bigger than ever" with The Boomtown Rats, Scouting for Girls, Nik Kershaw and Feeder headlining this year.
App-Fest takes place at Hillworth Farm in Longdon, near Tewkesbury from 1-4 August.
As well as the headliners, the likes of Katrina from The Waves, Chesney Hawkes, and Rebecca Ferguson are performing.
"This year, we’re most excited about our fantastic line up and seeing faces old and new," said co-organiser Sam Ashton.
Mr Ashton explained App-Fest was founded by Daniel Pardoe in 2008 as The Farmers Arms Apperley Festival before outgrowing the pub, moving to its current location and shortening its name.
"Daniel and the App-Fest team envisaged the festival as a way to bring together the local communities and raise money for local and national charities through our love of great music."
Over the years, the event had raised funds for charities including Winston’s Wish, Cancer Research, Help For Heroes and the Air Ambulance.
The family entertainment includes a fun fair, arts and crafts, circus skills and games.
Mr Ashton added: "This year, we’re bigger than ever before."
App-Fest also ran in June at The Blue Bowl in West Harptree, Somerset, with Starsailor and The Wurzels headlining.
