A motorway chase ended with police finding a haul of stolen copper wiring worth up to £7,000.
Lancashire Police followed a van and a car to Charnock Richard after a tip off about two suspicious vehicles in the village of Cabus.
Two people leapt out of the van and ran down the hard shoulder, before one was arrested.
Three other people were arrested in the car, which had been driving in a mini-convoy with the van.
Police found bags and buckets of copper wiring, which they said was ready to be weighed in.
On Facebook, police said it was the third time the business had been targeted and that it had lost up to £66,000 of copper.
The stolen wiring was returned.
