A fund for charities and non-profit organisations supporting Bailiwick of Guernsey residents has opened for 2024 applications.

The Social Investment Fund's small grants programme is accepting applications for up to £25,000 or a year's running costs.

The public and privately invested fund supports the protection of the natural environment, cultural heritage schemes and community health projects.

Since it was launched in 2021, 76 small grants totalling more than £829,000 have been awarded to help charities with running or project costs.

Beneficiaries include Les Voies Parent Teacher Friend Association, which received £20,196 towards providing school lunches for a year.

Sadie Siviter de Paucar, the fund's lead officer, said: "We encourage charities of any shape or size across the Bailiwick to apply for support.”

Charities can complete and submit an application form online via the fund's grant application portal, external or by contacting Guernsey Community Foundation, external.

Completed applications must be received by noon on Wednesday, 3 April.
