Armed police were called to Parkwood Crescent in Leeds on Friday morning

Armed police were called to an address in Leeds following reports a man with a gun had smashed windows.

West Yorkshire Police said they were called to Parkwood Crescent in Beeston at 11:01 GMT on Friday.

A force spokesperson said officers found no evidence of firearms discharge, but forensic investigators remained at the scene.

Police said a man was arrested at an address in Dewsbury Road and another man was arrested after a car was stopped by armed officers in Rowland Road.

According to the spokesperson, officers believed the people involved in the incident were known to each other.
