A seaside town says it will host its biggest-ever Christmas market after years of uncertainty around festive funding.
Bournemouth Christmas Company has stepped in to put on events in the town, which will include a revamped Christmas in the Square, glow golf evenings and an alpine lodge bar.
The group, made up of SKATE Bournemouth and Seventa Events which previously ran the ice rink, have collaborated with the Coastal Business Improvement District (BID) for the Christmas in Bournemouth offering, external.
The BID has been working to keep the festive lights on in the town after Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council said it would stop funding them in 2023.
Elsewhere in the BCP region, Christchurch and Poole town centres will be lit up for residents and visitors from 22 November.
