Motorcyclist dies and three hurt in crashes

A motorcyclist has died and three people were hurt in two crashes on the same road.
A BMW car crashed with a Triumph motorbike on the A4538 Pershore Lane in Spetchley, near Worcester, on Thursday at about 17:30 BST, West Mercia Police said.
The woman riding it suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, the ambulance service said.
The car then crashed with a Yamaha motorbike and the man riding it, aged in his 50s, died at the scene, police said.
Two air ambulances were sent to the scene along with two ambulances.
The driver of the car and a passenger were also hurt but their injuries were not thought to be serious and they were discharged at the scene, the ambulance service added.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drug driving.
