A West Sussex singer will be opening for Taylor Swift on Monday, the penultimate night of Swift's Eras Tour, at Wembley Stadium.

Maisie Peters, from Steyning, became the youngest solo British female artist to top the album charts with The Good Witch in 2023.

She has also supported Ed Sheeran, who joined Swift in London on 15 August for her first show back after attack threats cancelled the Vienna shows.

Peters, 24, thanked Swift on X and said she didn't know "how it gets better than this".

On 5 August, Peters took to X to announce the news: "I don't know how it gets better than this. See u at the eras tour on august 19th."

The Eras Tour will come to an end in Canada on 8 December 2024 after over 100 shows.

Swift is reportedly expected to make over $2b (£1.549m) from ticket sales alone.
