A man has pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving after a 17 year-old girl died when a car hit a tree.

The vehicle came off the road and crashed on 28 November on the B4376 near Much Wenlock, Shropshire, West Mercia Police said.

Madison Evans, who was a passenger in the car, was found in a critical condition and died at the scene.

Sean Cox, 21, of Severn Way, Shrewsbury, entered his plea at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Tuesday and was released on bail. His trial was set for 10 November 2025.
