A 15-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to raping a girl in Worcester

A 15-year-old boy has pleaded guilty raping a teenage girl in a Worcester park.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Worcester Crown Court on Friday.

The teenager is accused of attacking the girl at Cripplegate Park on August 10 and pleaded guilty to one charge of rape and one charge of assault by penetration.

Judge Andrew Lockhart KC has adjourned the case until 11 December, when the boy will be sentenced.
