Train services disrupted after person hit by train

Greater Anglia said there were no services between Wickford and Southend Victoria

Railway services have been cancelled after a person was hit by a train.
Network Rail said the incident took place between Wickford and Southend Victoria station in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, at about 05:25 GMT.
Operator Greater Anglia said emergency services were at the scene dealing with the incident and all lines were blocked.
Services were terminating and starting from Shenfield. Passengers were being advised to check routes before travel.
Greater Anglia tickets were being accepted on C2C services from Southend Central station to London Fenchurch Street, a Greater Anglia spokesperson added.
