A driver who carried out an attack on another driver while they were in traffic in Hagley made racist comments, police have said.
The attack happened on Birmingham Road on Sunday at 12:15 BST, near the roadworks area heading towards Stourbridge Road.
West Mercia Police, who are treating the incident as a racially aggravated assault, said the driver got out of his car, a beige Citroen Berlingo. He then attacked the victim in the car behind, which was a black Toyota Yaris, while making the comments.
PC Maxine Unitt described it as a "particularly distressing incident, as it happened in a busy area in the middle of the day and was witnessed by lots of people, including several children".
She urged anyone who saw what happened, or who has dashcam or mobile phone footage, to get in touch.
