Arrest after life-threatening assault at motocross event

A man in his 30s has been arrested following an assault which left someone in a life-threatening condition at a motocross event.

Police received a call at 09.15 BST on 22 August, following the assault at the Foxhill motocross event at Upper Wanborough, Wiltshire, which left a man with significant injuries.

The victim, also in his 30s, is in hospital in a "life-threatening" condition, Wiltshire Police said.

The suspect, who is known to the victim, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in custody. A cordon remains in place.
