Two people were taken to hospital following a crash on a dual carriageway in Derbyshire.

Police said an Audi A1 and a Ford Transit collided on the A50 near Chellaston at about 10:45 GMT.

Officers said two people were taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries was not known.

A section of the road was closed but reopened at about 13:00.
