Person in hospital and road closed after crash

Wolvershill Road remains closed in both directions

A person has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a moped and a van.

Avon and Somerset Police were called to Wolvershill Road in Banwell, North Somerset, at about 07:10 BST.

The road is closed in both directions from the roundabout with Derek Mead Way to West Street.

Police officers are appealing for witnesses and want to speak with the driver of a white vehicle who they believe was a key witness to the incident.
